Yesterday, Wednesday 20 January in Barcelona's Distinguished Mr. Jaume Asens Llodrà, president of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and Mr. Antoni Garrell Guiu, Director General of the FUNDIT, signed a collaboration agreement between the Institute of Culture, the Barcelona Museum of Design and the School of Design ESDi. This agreement, involving 24 schools ESDi over Catalonia and Valencia, aims to promote educational activities related to design, creativity and innovation, as well as establishing joint research projects and collaborations with teachers. In the framework of the cooperation established between the ESDI promote their community educational activities carried out at the Design Museum (such as exhibitions, workshops, conferences ...) and also from the Museum will echo ESDi activities through their usual means (web, blog and / or social networks). In addition, in order to facilitate access to the educational community in its collections, exhibitions and program activities, the Design Museum will offer discounts and free visits to the permanent and temporary exhibitions for students and teachers of the school. Services of Documentation CentreThe Documentation Centre of Design Museum is a space for consultation and research that specializes in decorative arts and design, which collects and preserves information and documentation related to these matters.In this sense, the agreement also includes 50% discount on the annual fee for access to the Documentation Centre will offer study support, research, creation, reflection and critical innovation processes specialized and will launch an interlibrary loan service and publications exchange.
