  4 graduates are finalists for the Laus Awards. Final Degree Projects "Hipercuriosidad" by Raul Garcia Gili, "Griot" by Oriol Arnedo of Graphic Design and "Beware With The Fifth Column" by Sergi Soley and "Over 2.0" by Cristian Arranz of Audiovisual mention have been selected as finalists in the 2016 Laus Awards in the category of students. The winners will be announced during the Nit Laus, which will take place on June 10 at the Design Hub Barcelona. The Laus awards are organized by the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of FAD (ADG-FAD) and aim to become a recognition of the creativity and quality of the audiovisual and graphic communication.     The exhibition "Reinterpreting the graph" shows the new logos museums Sabadell by student Merce Cassanyes On Tuesday March 15 the exhibition opened "Reinterpreting the graph" in the Sabadell Art Museum, an exhibition that brings together the proposals of the students of 4th Graphic Design mention of ESDi to reinterpret logos museums of Sabadell. Among the proposals, highlights of the Merce Cassanyes, who has been chosen by the city of Sabadell to redefine the symbols of Sabadell Art Museum and the Museum of History. In the case of the Historical Archive of Sabadell it has decided to maintain the current emblem for its historical weight. This collaboration between University and Municipality has given the opportunity for future designers to work on a real project, always under the guidance of professionals from both ESDI and the City Council of Sabadell. The exhibition can be visited until April 3 at the Art Museum of the city.       Col·lec presents the results of the first Satellite Workshop with ESDi as host university As part of the conference cycle "Out of Metrics" organized by FAD Barcelona, the group of intercollegiate creative Col·lec presented the projects that have been carried out in the first Satellite Workshop. Under the premise of "textiles limits" and the concept of "nomadism", three groups of students from different disciplines and design schools (as ESDi) have conducted a joint work, tutored by the Hunch study. Part of this work have developed in different areas of the School of Design ESDi, who has served as host institution of this first workshop, and supported participants at both the infrastructure and professional advice, the hand of the designers and teachers of the school.       TV3 prepares a report on the competition of Gremi de la Fusta A team of TV3 interviewed student of Product Design Judit Moreno, author of the design of the swing that will play in wood in the XXIV Contest Carpentry and Cabinetmaking, organized by the Gremi de la Fusta de Sabadell and Industrial School and will take place on Friday, March 18.   The Catalan television is preparing a report on this sustainability project that gives new use wood from trees Can Deu who fell during the storm of December 9, 2014 and which is assigned by the company Serradora Boix SL.       ESDi prepares an Open Day on April 9 On Saturday April 9 the School of Design of Sabadell ESDi held the Open Day, an open house to introduce the University and the wide range of studies degree, Postgraduate and Masters in design ESDi offers. Confirm your attendance info@esdi.edu.es       Exhibition of Catalonia Ecodesign Award The Hall of ESDi hosts, from 15 March to 18 April, the exhibition of the proposals awarded the Prize of Catalonia EcoDesign 2015, convened by the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the Agency Catalan waste.   The aim is to reward that, by design, reduce the environmental impacts that products originate throughout their life cycle, promoting improved environmental performance.
