On Thursday, March 5 took place a new edition of the ESDissabte, the meeting between students and professionals from the world of design organized by students of the ESDI for 2 years. This time the organizers invited graduate in graphic design ESDI David Vera to present his final grade project "Ordinario", a collection of photographs and conversations with friends that pretend to be, as defined Vera, "a personal ode to the world, in contrast to the increasingly globalized world". The project can be seen at the exhibition Transpositions: design offstage until April 5 at Espai Cultura Sabadell The second guest was renowned product designer Curro Claret, who uses design with a clear desire to be useful as a tool in their work with social organizations to help people at risk of social exclusion. This ESDissabte attendees could see first hand some of these projects are carried out in Camper o at Fundació Arrels. Then Erik Morales, director of advertising at production company Canada explained how is his work, showed some of their latest vídeos works and share his experiences with students. Finally the meeting presented a video that the ESDitv team has made facing the Open Day. A relaxed atmosphere, a photo contest on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #9esdissabte and the good work of the organization ESDissabte have made the event, once again, a success.
