'Close to the body' is a research study conducted between IAAC (Institut d 'Arquitectura Avançada de Catalunya) the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU / e) and the School of Design ESDI. ESDI provide expertise in textile design and new materials. This project is presented by Professor Marina Castán at ArchInTex Symposium in addition to presenting the videos of the project and also 'The Wearable Fashion Orchestra' at the Design Film Festival ArchInTex will discuss the creation of databases in relation to the functionality of smart fabrics issue that affects many different disciplines collaborate these days of exchanges of ideas. Marina also runs a workshop during the day symposium on smart textiles and digital fabrication tools. In addition, on November 12th will participate as a speaker at the conference EmTech Valencia, the Spanish MIT Technology Review.
