On Thursday March 26 FIU BCN organized an event at the School of Design ESDI, a new stop on his tour through the different design schools in Barcelona. FIU was born by ESDi graduates Humbert Clotet and Georgina Capdevila, as a design event presented for their graduation project. The formula is simple: a presentation by the organizing team of the school, a 10 minutes "conference-express" of three "fiuers" (talented young designers aged 18 to 25 years)  and finally a conference of 20 minutes of a “profiuer”, about his professional experiences. In a relaxed atmosphere with music by DJs Dirty Gums, about a hundred people filled the hall of ESDi that not wanted to miss this event which has become a successful meeting between designers, students and companies.     The first of the talks was in charge of student graphic design at ESDI Oriol Arnedo, who in 2014 was awarded by the Festival Swab Barcelona. To Arnedo "the creative process is sometimes more important than the end result" because "in the design, a part of us is reflected in our work". The student is currently preparing his final degree project and advised his companions "pull together different artistic disciplines to enrich their projects."     Then Guillem Rodríguez, fashion designer trained at BAU, presented their latest works. With his collection entitled "Romantycs" won the 2013 award for best ModaFAD designer. That same year he presented "Vulnerable" in the 080 Barcelona Fashion, was named best young designer from Spain in ANDE Awards and the 14th edition of 080 was awarded with Honorable Mention for his menswear collection "Manifesto". Now just add another success, having been chosen as one of ten finalists of Festival of Fashion and Photography of Hyères.     Martina Nadal is a designer who is finishing his studies at  Elisava and Berlin University of the Arts. Nadal was selected to participate in the Berlin Design Week with its work in jewelry where exploring geometric abstraction of the human body. He currently works for a publishing company and is part of Reverso Collective, a group of designers who believe in design as a tool for transformation and in fact, they are the instigators of FAD’s "Design and social transformation" conferences. Martina Nadal says "no longer want to work only for me, I want to design for others".     To end the ceremony, the duo formed by Mireia Ruiz and Raul Ramos, presented Cocolia his design studio. Their brand is “autoproyectos”, a riskier formula to get noticed, "which gives freedom of design and form and returns you creativity that perhaps has been lost over the years," explained the designers. Cocolia are known for their use of color, either spray or paint on objects and recycled materials and give them a new life.     The FIU BCN TOUR will end on Monday May 11 with a big party in Fàbrica Estrella Damm in Barcelona
